Introduction
The Connected Now page allows platform users to view all currently connected guest devices. This page shows all device data available and gives the user the ability to add devices to the blocklist and whitelist, as well as the ability to immediately logout accounts. If accounts are pending, users can also grant temporary access to different service tiers.

Connected Now Table Columns
Table Item | Description |
MAC | The MAC address of the device. |
IP | The IP address of the network. |
Username | The username assigned to account at creation. |
Download | The total data downloaded by the device. |
Upload | The total data uploaded by the device. |
Uptime | The period of time in which the device is ready, available and successfully browsing the Internet. |
Idle-time | The period of time in which the device is ready and available, but not connected to the internet. |
Status | The status of the device. Devices can be Active or Pending. An active device is seen by the network and has authenticated successfully. A pending device is seen by the network but has yet to authenticate. |
Network | The name of the network that the device is seen on. |
Port | The port assigned to the network that the device is seen on. |

Logging Out a Device
Steps | Description |
1 | Navigate to the Connected Now page by clicking on the menu item in the left side menu. |
2 | Search for the device using the filters provided. You can search by MAC Address. |
3 | A pop-up will appear. Within the Device info section at the top of the pop-up, click Logout. |
Defining a Device as Browser-less
Certain devices, such as game consoles, wireless printers and wireless white goods, do not have the functionality to display browsers, and consequently, cannot access the WiFi this way. These devices can be defined as browser-less and will be immediately authenticated to the network without needing to access the portal.

1 | Navigate to the Connected Now page by clicking on the menu item in the left side menu. |
2 | Search for the device using the filters provided. You can search by MAC Address. |
3 | A pop-up will appear. Scroll down to the bottom of the box. |
4 | There will be a tickbox underneath the label Browser-less Device. To define the device as browser-less, click this tickbox. |
5 | Click Save. |
Adding a Device to a Whitelist or Blocklist
Occasionally, you may need to put troublesome devices onto the blocklist which will prevent them from accessing the wireless network. Alternatively, you can place important devices onto the whitelist which allows them uninterrupted access to the network.

1 | Navigate to the Connected Now page by clicking on the menu item in the left side menu. |
2 | Search for the device using the filters provided. You can search by MAC Address. |
3 | A pop-up will appear. Within the pop-up, scroll down to the Permanently whitelist/blocklist section. |
4 | Within the Permanently whitelist/blocklist section, click on the dropdown labelled Add to and select either blocklist or whitelist and add a description for transparency. |
5 | Click save. |
