Introduction
The voucher page allows you to create and manage voucher codes. Vouchers can be used to give WiFi access to your guests, allowing you to control who gets access. Voucher codes can be a unique, one-time code or a bespoke code of your choosing.
Location of Vouchers
Step | Description |
1 | Log into the platform. |
2 | In the left side menu, go to Guests and then Vouchers. |
Creating Vouchers
Generate a Single Voucher Code
Step | Description |
1 | Navigate to the Vouchers page. |
2 | Select Add at the top of the page. |
3 | A pop up window will appear. Begin by typing in your Voucher Code into the Username field. The username will be the code your guests enter to access the WiFi. |
3a | For added security you can also add a password, however, this is an optional step. |
4 | Select a Service Tier from the dropdown menu. The service tier defines the rules of the amount of WiFi the voucher is enabled with. Please note that Service Tiers should be set prior to creating a voucher code. |
5 | Click Save. |
Overwrite Tier
When adding a voucher code, it is possible to override the bandwidth rules of the service tier that has been applied to the voucher.
Step | Description |
1 | Follow the steps 1 to 4 in Creating a single voucher code. |
2 | Tick the box labelled Override Service Tier. Here, you can override bandwidth up and down and specify a voucher end date. Please make sure the bandwidth up and down entered to be in line with overall bandwidth in your property which does not affect the rest of the authenticated guests. |
3 | Click Save. |
Generate Multiple Codes
Step | Description |
1 | Navigate to the Vouchers page. |
2 | Select Generate at the top of the page. |
3 | A pop up window will appear. In the Amount field, enter the number of voucher codes you wish to generate. |
4 | Apply a Service tier by selecting one from the dropdown menu. The service tier defines the rules of the amount of WiFi the vouchers are enabled with. |
5 | In the row labelled username, type in the length you want your codes to be, try and limit it to between 5 and 8 characters. |
6 | In the Type field, select the format you want your codes to be displayed in. You can select between alphanumeric, numeric or alphabetic. |
7 | In the Case field, select the case format of the voucher code. You can select from uppercase, lowercase or random/mixed. |
7a | For added security you can also add a password, however, this is an optional step. If this is required, apply the Type and Case of the password. |
8 | Click Generate. |
9 | Your generated voucher codes will appear in the voucher table once generated. You can also download a .CSV file of your generated codes. |
Import Voucher Codes
Step | Description |
1 | Navigate to the Vouchers page. |
2 | Select Import at the top of the page. |
3 | Start by selecting the service tier you want to applied to the voucher code by selecting the service tier dropdown. |
4 | Next, map the columns in the platform database with the columns that you will be importing. Ensure the columns are configured as they are below: Column 1: Username Column 2: Password* *The password column header must be present, however, the column contents can be left blank. |
5 | Click Browse and Upload to search for the file on your desktop. Once selected, your voucher codes will upload and will be present in the voucher table. |

The import file must be a CSV. The Password column can be left blank if no password is required, however, the column header must exist. The username is essentially the voucher code. The username can be whatever you like, just make sure it's not too long.
Deleting Vouchers
Step | Description |
1 | Navigate to the Vouchers page. |
2 | If you have the appropriate permissions, you'll see a blank tick box to the left of the voucher code in the table. Tick the box of the code you wish to delete. You can also tick the blank tickbox in the table header to select the entire page of voucher codes. |
3 | Click Delete. |
Further Options
It's possible to make further amendments to created voucher codes such as Redirect URL, Session Timeout, Start date and End date.
Step | Description |
1 | Ensure you've created a voucher code. This can be via adding a single code, generating a batch or importing. |
2 | Navigate to the Registered Guests page located in the left side menu under the heading Guests. |
3 | Locate the voucher code you wish to make amendments too in the Registered Guests table. Use the search or filters if needed. |
4 | Select the voucher code, this will bring up a configuration panel. Within the configuration panel select the tab labelled Tier Overwrite. |
5 | Once you've made your configurations, click Save |
